Overview
Great Minds Consulting is seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Sales Director to lead new client acquisition across the APAC region, with a focus on Australia and Singapore. This role is designed for a confident, consultative sales leader who brings both depth in enterprise technology and discipline in building pipeline, winning new business, and shaping revenue strategy.
This is a foundational growth role — ideal for an individual who thrives in early-stage, high-trust environments. You will report directly to the CEO and serve as a critical part of our leadership team, responsible for driving sustainable growth through the acquisition of mid-market clients (200–1000 FTEs) and delivering consultative sales across a multi-vendor service portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for new business acquisition across Australia and Singapore, aligned with company priorities and regional opportunity
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline from prospecting through to close, with full accountability for quarterly revenue targets
- Lead complex sales engagements with senior stakeholders — including CMOs, CIOs, CTOs, COOs, and occasionally CEOs — across a diverse set of industries
- Represent our consulting offerings across Atlassian, Salesforce, and broader enterprise platforms (including CRM, CDP, ESP, ERP, DAM), positioning value through a solutions-led lens
- Serve as a trusted commercial partner to internal delivery leads and the CEO to ensure seamless pre-sales support, solution alignment, and post-sale success
- Lead and coach one direct report responsible for partner engagement and sales support, with potential to scale the team as revenue grows
Candidate Profile
This is a senior appointment suited to an individual with a strong track record in consultative, mid-market enterprise sales — particularly within technology advisory or professional services.
Required experience and attributes:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in technology consulting sales, with a demonstrated ability to originate, qualify, and close six-figure engagements
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Atlassian, Salesforce, Microsoft, Google, or equivalent
- Ability to sell into the C-suite with credibility and clarity; experienced in leading strategic conversations with marketing, technology, and operational executives
- Well-developed professional network across Australia or Singapore, with the ability to activate commercial opportunities from day one
- Impeccable communication skills — both written and verbal — with a polished and confident presence
- Strong commercial acumen, sales discipline, and comfort operating in a lean, high-performance environment
