Sam Akbari founded Great Minds in 2009 and leads the firm’s strategy, team and operations globally. He has held many leadership roles in the past including Head of GTM Operations at Breville (ASX: BRG), Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer at Netlinkz (ASX: NET), and Global Head of Product at King Content. As CEO, Sam has overseen the growth of Great Minds from humble beginnings to accelerated growth across the advisory and implementation practices.

Born in the city of Mashhad in Iran; Sam arrived in Australia with his family in 1994 as a refugee fleeing religious persecution. Sam currently lives in Sydney where he enjoys his passion for family, friends, food and wine.
